Come out for a chili dinner to help the Ide family raise money in their fallen soldier’s memory.

Tickets are $10 and children  under 10 years are free.

On August 29, 2010 Army SSG James Ide V “Jimmy” was killed in Hyderabad, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire. Jimmy is a Desoto High Alumni and a former resident of Festus, MO. Jimmy was a great soldier and wonderful person. We want to be able to honor Jimmy with a sign that people from his hometown can see and be reminded of his ultimate sacrifice for his country.

His family would like to ask you for your support to help them raise money for a “Heroes Way” highway sign.
